Being dedicated towards Agro Biotechnology, we have led research projects pertaining to pest management solutions and plant protection in context of insects, pests and plant diseases. With over 25 years of professional experience, our research spans to the field of Biopesticides, Toxicity of Agrochemicals, Pest Management, Genetics and Molecular Biology.

At Agro Bioresearch, we aim to contribute towards pest management solutions through sustainable agricultural practices. Our contribution can exponentially impact minimizing farmer’s challengers to cater to global food supply and demand.

Zainab ALJbory, Ph.D. Entomologist & Molecular Biologist Co-Founder

Zainab ALJbory is the trailblazer founder of Agro BioResearch, a leading Contract Research Organization based in St. Louis, MO. Holding a Ph.D. in Entomology and Molecular Biology from Kansas State University, she brings a robust academic background, complemented by B.S. and M.S. degrees in Entomology and Plant Protection. Before Agro BioResearch, Zainab propelled her career through a dynamic trajectory, weaving academic and industrial expertise in the discovery, research, and development of pest management, toxicology, genetics, and molecular applications of diverse agricultural insects. With a wealth of experience, Zainab’s commitment to advancing the understanding and mitigation of complex challenges in Entomology underscores her dedication to the field. Her leadership at Agro BioResearch reflects a continued devotion to excellence and innovation in Agro biotechnology research.

Maher Dalal, Ph.D.
Plant Pathologist
Co-Founder

Maher Dalal, a distinguished Co-founder, is a highly accomplished professional with a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology. His academic foundation includes B.S. and M.S. degrees in Plant Diseases and Plant Protection, earned at the University of Baghdad, Iraq. A rich tapestry of experiences marks Maher's career. He has contributed significantly to the field by collaborating with the USDA unit in Manhattan, KS. Before this, he held key international roles in academia and industry, specializing in Mycology and plant diseases, pest diagnostics, and pesticide applications. With a profound understanding of plant pathology and a global perspective gained through diverse roles, Maher exemplifies a commitment to collaborative ventures and leadership in Agro BioResearch to address critical plant protection and agricultural sustainability challenges.

Abdulrahman Naeem, B.S. Biologist

Abdulrahman Naeem, a dedicated Biologist, is equipped with a B.S. in Biology from Kansas State University. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Cell Biology at the University of Kansas. During his tenure as an undergraduate researcher, Abdulrahman demonstrated a keen aptitude for scientific inquiry. His work included specialized projects in cloning and manipulating plant lipids, showcasing a nuanced understanding of molecular biology. He also played a vital role in maintaining Hessian fly insectary in greenhouse environments. Abdulrahman’s academic pursuits and hands-on research experience are valuable to Agro BioResearch and position him as a promising professional with a passion for pushing the boundaries of scientific exploration in Agro Biotechnology.
